The Isolation People
After ten years in New York City, a move to Nashville, TN with no friends, family, or support created a profound sense of isolation. In January 2015 a two week long ice storm paralyzed the city and left me with only the tools at hand to express an overwhelming feeling of creativity and loneliness. With a tripod, remote, and two lights I created the village of personalities I was encased in ice with. I call them The Isolation People.
The Isolation People is an evolving series of self portraits that began in 2015 and continues presently.
